Mildmay Community Centres annual halloween celebration for kids. A mixture of immersive experience, games and activities centred around the arts facilitated and created by Junk Junkie Collective’s young people’s program ‘Junk Junkateers’. 

At the after school art club leading up to the event, we explored various activities such as puppetry, sign making and character creation through a giant exquisite corpse. This was used in the set as a Frankenstein marionette, which the young people had to activate by finding missing junk items hidden in the cardboard ‘Maze of Ghosts’. Our performers led a training course, and helped them find their superpowers to use their monster catching devices.
